How to make Peanut Butter Cookies

Ingredients:
- 1 cup Brown Sugar, packed
- ½ cup Peanut Butter
- ½ cup Unsalted Butter, softened
- 1 Egg
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1 ¼ cup All Purpose Flour
- ¾ teaspoon Baking Soda
- ½ teaspoon Baking Powder
- ¼ teaspoon Salt
- ½ cup Granulated Sugar ( for rolling )
Preparation Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 375° F.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream the brown sugar, peanut butter, and butter with an electric mixer.
- Add in the egg and vanilla extract. Blend until incorporated.
- Add in the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. With the mixer on low speed, mix until all ingredients are combined.
- Shape dough into 1 ½ inch balls. Roll the balls in granulated sugar and place on a parchment lined baking sheet. Place balls 3 inches apart.
- Bake 10-15 minutes or until light brown.
- Cool for 5 minutes.
- Remove from baking sheet and place on cooling racks.
